# Республика vs modi

The clearest difference is review sentiment: modi at 55% against Республика's 8%. modi also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). Республика's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.3). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Республика holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of Республика's written reviews are positive against 55% of modi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Республика ships an update every 3 months, modi fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
