# Field Nation vs Outsource

The clearest difference is monetization model: Outsource at free against Field Nation's free with in-app purchases. Outsource also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Field Nation's advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 4) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Field Nation holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Field Nation has 3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Field Nation ships an update fortnightly, Outsource every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
