# Field Nation vs VecApp

The clearest difference is rating: VecApp at 5.0 against Field Nation's 4.3. VecApp also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Field Nation's advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VecApp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Field Nation has 3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Field Nation ships an update fortnightly, VecApp weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
