# Field Nation vs GoCanvas Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: GoCanvas Tracker at 5.0 against Field Nation's 4.3. GoCanvas Tracker also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Field Nation's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (3K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GoCanvas Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Field Nation has 3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Field Nation ships an update fortnightly, GoCanvas Tracker every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
