# Split.co vs Kosher Kingdom

The clearest difference is rating: Kosher Kingdom at 4.7 against Split.co's 4.2. Kosher Kingdom also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Split.co's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (363 vs 12). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kosher Kingdom holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Split.co has 363 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Split.co's written reviews are positive against 50% of Kosher Kingdom's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Split.co ships an update fortnightly, Kosher Kingdom every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
