# Nexar Classic vs CurbSense

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CurbSense at 100% against Nexar Classic's 34%. CurbSense also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4). Nexar Classic's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (13K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nexar Classic sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and CurbSense sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.00 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CurbSense holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nexar Classic has 13K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 34% of Nexar Classic's written reviews are positive against 100% of CurbSense's.

Nexar Classic ships an update monthly, CurbSense fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
