# Giraffe Evolution vs Gonga Lite

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Gonga Lite at none against Giraffe Evolution's 11. Gonga Lite also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Giraffe Evolution's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 30 months) and ratings volume (3K vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Giraffe Evolution sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Gonga Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Gonga Lite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Giraffe Evolution has 3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Giraffe Evolution ships an update every 5 weeks, Gonga Lite every 30 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
