# Spark Mail vs Superhuman Mail

Spark Mail and Superhuman Mail both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 61% of Spark Mail's written reviews are positive against 41% of Superhuman Mail's. Spark Mail also leads on ratings volume (83K vs 3.7K) and chart position (#111 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spark Mail sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Superhuman Mail sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Spark Mail against 4.6 for Superhuman Mail. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spark Mail has 83K ratings behind it against 3.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 61% of Spark Mail's written reviews are positive against 41% of Superhuman Mail's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
