# InShot vs Video Loop

The clearest difference is ads: Video Loop at none against InShot's shown. Video Loop also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). InShot's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (2.5M vs 2). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. InShot sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Video Loop sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Video Loop holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: InShot has 2.5M ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

InShot ships an update every 2 weeks, Video Loop every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
