# First 5 vs Todays Proverbs

The clearest difference is ads: Todays Proverbs at none against First 5's shown. Todays Proverbs also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). First 5's advantage is ratings volume (879 vs 7). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for First 5 against 4.4 for Todays Proverbs. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: First 5 has 879 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of First 5's written reviews are positive against 100% of Todays Proverbs's.
