# First 5 vs 1X

The clearest difference is review sentiment: First 5 at 73% against 1X's 40%. First 5 also leads on ratings volume (888 vs 32) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). 1X's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
