# First 5 vs Reflect

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: First 5 at none against Reflect's 1. First 5 also leads on ratings volume (879 vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). Reflect's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reflect sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per month. First 5 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Reflect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: First 5 has 879 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

First 5 ships an update every 3 months, Reflect every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
