# Jags Safe vs Verkada Pass

The clearest difference is rating: Jags Safe at 4.4 against Verkada Pass's 2.7. Jags Safe also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.2 vs 18.0). Verkada Pass's advantage is review sentiment (37% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 8 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Jags Safe holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Verkada Pass has 80 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Jags Safe's written reviews are positive against 37% of Verkada Pass's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Jags Safe ships an update every 8 months, Verkada Pass every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
