# Count Suruo vs mimi

The clearest difference is ads: mimi at none against Count Suruo's shown. mimi also leads on ratings volume (6.5K vs 15) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Count Suruo sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and mimi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Count Suruo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: mimi has 6.5K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Count Suruo's written reviews are positive against 92% of mimi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Count Suruo ships an update every 3 months, mimi monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
