# Morning and Evening Devotion vs ISPA

The clearest difference is ads: ISPA at none against Morning and Evening Devotion's shown. ISPA also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 9 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Morning and Evening Devotion's advantage is ratings volume (3.8K vs 2). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Morning and Evening Devotion against 5.0 for ISPA. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Morning and Evening Devotion has 3.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Morning and Evening Devotion ships an update every 9 months, ISPA every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
