# XCStats Mobile vs Athletic.APP

The clearest difference is rating: Athletic.APP at 3.7 against XCStats Mobile's 2.7. Athletic.APP also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and chart position (#117 vs unranked). XCStats Mobile's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Athletic.APP sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. XCStats Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

Athletic.APP holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Athletic.APP has 278 ratings behind it against 40, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of XCStats Mobile's written reviews are positive against 29% of Athletic.APP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

XCStats Mobile ships an update every 2 months, Athletic.APP every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
