# Kinvo by Kinvolved vs SyncGrades

The clearest difference is rating: SyncGrades at 3.7 against Kinvo by Kinvolved's 2.7. SyncGrades also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium). Kinvo by Kinvolved's advantage is ratings volume (40 vs 6) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SyncGrades holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kinvo by Kinvolved has 40 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Kinvo by Kinvolved's written reviews are positive against 33% of SyncGrades's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
