# Speedify vs Check Link

The clearest difference is monetization model: Speedify at freemium against Check Link's subscription. Speedify also leads on ratings volume (28K vs 7) and device support. Check Link's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speedify sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Check Link sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Check Link holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speedify has 28K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.
