# Gunship Sequel vs FoxOne Special Missions +

The clearest difference is ads: Gunship Sequel at none against FoxOne Special Missions +'s shown. Gunship Sequel also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 2.2K) and review sentiment (79% vs 70%). FoxOne Special Missions +'s advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gunship Sequel sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and FoxOne Special Missions + sells 15 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FoxOne Special Missions + holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gunship Sequel has 14K ratings behind it against 2.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Gunship Sequel's written reviews are positive against 70% of FoxOne Special Missions +'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gunship Sequel ships an update every 3 weeks, FoxOne Special Missions + monthly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
