# tpMiFi vs Sprout HR

The clearest difference is review sentiment: tpMiFi at 77% against Sprout HR's 36%. tpMiFi also leads on ratings volume (815 vs 5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). Sprout HR's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sprout HR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: tpMiFi has 815 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of tpMiFi's written reviews are positive against 36% of Sprout HR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

tpMiFi ships an update every 4 months, Sprout HR fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
