# Learning Vietnamese vs Emme Vietnamese

The clearest difference is update cadence: Learning Vietnamese at every 6 weeks against Emme Vietnamese's every 4 months. Emme Vietnamese's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learning Vietnamese sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Emme Vietnamese sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Learning Vietnamese ships an update every 6 weeks, Emme Vietnamese every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
