# DartCounter vs Cricket Trainer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Cricket Trainer at none against DartCounter's 7. DartCounter's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 39) and review sentiment (66% vs 50%). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DartCounter sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Cricket Trainer asks for nothing beyond the download.

DartCounter holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DartCounter has 2K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 66% of DartCounter's written reviews are positive against 50% of Cricket Trainer's.

DartCounter ships an update weekly, Cricket Trainer fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
