# MJX FPV vs Rx Drone

The clearest difference is rating: Rx Drone at 2.4 against MJX FPV's 1.8. Rx Drone also leads on ratings volume (138 vs 4). MJX FPV's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 20%) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rx Drone holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rx Drone has 138 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of MJX FPV's written reviews are positive against 20% of Rx Drone's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MJX FPV ships an update every 3 weeks, Rx Drone every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
