# EBook Libre vs Bubble BD Manga Comics

The clearest difference is ads: Bubble BD Manga Comics at none against EBook Libre's shown. Bubble BD Manga Comics also leads on review sentiment (92% vs 59%). EBook Libre's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EBook Libre sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Bubble BD Manga Comics sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EBook Libre holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EBook Libre has 153 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of EBook Libre's written reviews are positive against 92% of Bubble BD Manga Comics's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EBook Libre ships an update every 3 days, Bubble BD Manga Comics monthly. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
