For the next month, NBC 4 New York is proud to host its annual Clear the Shelters event - a heartwarming initiative to help our furry friends find their forever homes. From August 10th through September 10th, our news app will be the go-to destination for all things pet adoption, showcasing adorable animals in need of loving families.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Clear the Shelters, and we're pulling out all the stops to make it the most successful one yet. Tune in to our live coverage to follow the touching stories of shelter animals as they're matched with their new owners, and find out how you can get involved by donating supplies or volunteering your time. With hundreds of participating shelters across the NYC area, there's never been a better opportunity to open your heart and home to a four-legged companion. So what are you waiting for?
