Great app for control the 01v96 previously I used the 01v and was great, but this App is other thing and the support better!

Great App for the 01V96V2 Mixer
I took a chance and everything is working. The developer’s website is very helpful and necessary for the setup process. You will need software for the Mac in the App Store but is only $5 USD.
I’m using this with an iPhone 11 and MacBook Pro (mid 2015, i7, 16gig Ram, OS 10.14.6).
My usage is for using the mixer for Zoom meetings and the need to turn on and off reverb. On the 01V96 it is you mute the stereo return and this app works just great.
I would like a hide button on channels you’re not using but you can go quickly to the parm you want to change by a overview window.
I think I’ll be buying an iPad soon just because of the remote capabilities.

Great App!
Yes I had a few teething problems getting the app up and running, and resorted to contacting John Milner.
He replied incredibly quickly, which I must commend him for. As it turned out, my firewall was blocking the UMMU server which you have to download for this App to work.
As soon as this issue was resolved the app worked fine.
For remote control of faders and Aux sends this app is a must!

Great app for remote iPad mixing
I got this app about 4 months ago and use it for live sound production. The basics are the app uses sysex midi, a computer running UMMU server (free on website) translates to the board via midi.
I ran into a couple technical snags that were unrelated to the app. Use a GOOD midi/USB interface. Cheap ones will not be able to handle the large amounts of data.
The app does volume for all auxes and main outs. Does not do dynamics though. No metering on the iPad, so you have to know what you inputs are like.

Works great follow the help instructions and pay attention to the ip in the ummu server with your ipad.
No good at all
Very disappointed with this app. I purchased it sometime ago and had quite a bit of trouble with it. After repeated emails and different midi and Wi-Fi set ups it was no better. I thought this latest version maybe better, but I was unfortunately completely wrong. Purchase at your own peril!
A must have for any 01v96 user!!
I had a couple of little issues in setting up this app at first but the customer service I received was second to none and got everything working flawlessly within minutes. Many thanks, great work!!!

I was trying to find an iPad remote for my mixer and everything on the market proved to have no support - until I called this guy. I am now up and running and the app is very user friendly.

PLEASE UPDATE FOR IPHONE 5!!!!!
So sooooo soo happy you can finally adjust aux sends, that was the main reason i wanted this, to go on stage and give everyone a stage mix (mainly because i know what they would want more typically)
This needs to be updated to fix the iphone 5 screen fully, also it crashed a few times while adjusting an EQ in landscape mode.
And PLEASE take the "MAIN" off the screen, or at least make it a lot more transparent, it is very annoying/distracting.
once these are done i will GLADLY give it 5 stars, i just think for something that you pay $20 for it should regularly be updated
UPDATE: after using it I have found a lot more issues, first off, eq presets that are present on the 01v96 do not transfer over to the phone. So every time you adjust it on the phone it resets it on the board. It crashes a huge amount, mainly when the phone goes to sleep and you wake it up and try to adjust something. Also big thing, when it does crash or you turn the phone off it sometimes makes you put a new IP in on the comp which is unacceptable when on stage mixing. Can you just have it keep one IP and have an option to reset the ip if NEEDED. Also most of the time aux sends and fader settings don't go over to the phone when a scene is recalled. You have to touch each fader slightly for the phone to read the setting it's at.

Limited
Needs a channel editor. Disappointed with its Limited functionality. Does not allow you to edit fx, gating or compression. Only allows editing of the fader gain, eq and track naming. I suggest making potential buyers aware of this in the product description. I'm still constantly going to the console for comp and gating adjustments.

New version of the app works MUCH better than the previous release! Detailed instructions for setup can be found within the app if you scroll all the way to the right. Makes remote control of 01V96 perfectly possible, where Yamaha didn't. Thanks!

01v96 remote app on iPhone
Easy to connect. Can easily control FOH faders from remote and visa versa.
Disappointments are:
- can't upload from console into iPhone. So when you boot up the console you can receive a library setting from the iPhone but the iPhone can't receive a library setting from the console. Basically the console has to reset to work.
- the is no facility to adjust Aux mix's from the iPhone. This is a major bummer. I was hoping I could walk around the stage tweaking the Aux mix's but can't. :(
- the eq adjustments are one way from iPhone to console. Not visa versa. So any changes made to eq on the desk are not seen on the iPhone.
- pairing of channels does not get transmitted to the iPhone. So if you move one of the faders on the iPhone both faders move on the desk. But if you move the other fader on rhe iPhone then it resets to zero again and then moves up.
