Disappointed
I’ve been using this app since 2015 and I LOVE IT. But I’ve been really disappointed that the landscape view is gone, because I’ve always recorded my seconds that way, and now I can’t even save my past projects like that. I really don’t like recording in portrait format. Could you pretty please bring it back?

DONT TRY! Free trial immediately charged me $10.81
I kinda had high hopes for this app. But the free trial is a scam and I was charged $11 the moment after selecting it.

Favorite Part of the Year
I film a few second video of my toddler running to me at pick up time everyday. I did this with my older son and now my 2 year old. I compile the video compilation of him running to me and post it at the end of every school year. I have friends who look forward to this video every year! Someday they won’t be that excited to see me. These are memories I’ll cherish for a lifetime!

Best app for parents to record memories!!
I recommend this app to ALL my friends, especially the ones with kids because it’s such a cool way to record memories! I have at least one snippet every day from my son’s almost 6 years of life and it’s the COOLEST thing!
Great concept, terrible support

FOR YEARS
I have been using one second every day for many years. I love it for so many reasons. It makes me stop and think each day what I want to remember in the future. And I can go back for years to see snippets of what was happening at the time. I love this app.
Don’t fix what ain’t broken
This will be my fourth year using 1SE, it’s my favourite app. I had to pay for backup as my phone broke and i lost a months worth of footage. Not a prob, not ideal but worth it.
Just updated, and now I’m stuck with this horrific white background. I can’t use a picture without having the full image, not everything is formatted for an Instagram story. I’ve contacted for support and I’ve heard nothing. I won’t stop using it, but if something works, why change it?

Perfect for moms
As a mom of two little ones, this app has been the perfect and EASY solution for capturing our day to day and sharing with family. Instead of posting on social media, I take 1 sec a day and at the end of the month share out ‘mashed’ seconds with grandparents, and other close family and friends. It’s been the perfect way to share our lives in a private way without it being out in social media. I have been doing this since 2021 and of all the ‘mom’ things I do, this is one of the most special, that I know we’ll treasure for years to come.

This is such a great idea, but the only way to save your clips is to pay $100/year. I already have cloud backup, can I use what I already have, nope. When I looked up on their website why, they give some BS excuse about not being able to control data or something, its just an excuse to try to force yet another subscription. I would pay a one time fee to purchase the app and store on my cloud services, but I won’t pay yet another subscription so that they can have recurring revenue at my expense.

Price Hike & Low-Quality Free Version
After 7 years of loyally using this, I realized they switched the compression options last year, and your only options are fairly low-quality or HD (for $50!). It used to be totally free to get a quality video. It is noticeably bad, and I’m disappointed to have to move my seconds over, but I will be switching to a different app.

Quick Fill Freezes
I really want this app to do well I really do. I’ve loved it and used it for several years.
My only complaint is that the quick fill feature is not consistent. It hardly ever works. It will freeze. It won’t let you swap. Sometimes you press the button to swap in the video doesn’t actually swap sometimes I’ll get all the way through making my swaps and doing my quick fill and it will just crash and freeze and nothing will happen. I love the quick fill feature and I wish it would work. I pay an annual subscription for an app that freezes almost every time I use it.

I think that this app is fantastic. This is a wonderful way to compile your favorite moments, and to have something fun to look back on as you get older.
Love the app, but suddenly I can’t find my account
I’ve been using this app for almost 6 years and recently upgraded my phone, and since then I’m unable to login. The app won’t recognize any of my emails so it won’t send me a link. I continue to pay the subscription, but there’s also no way to contact anyone for help.
Super frustrating. I don’t wanna give up everything I’ve done, but I refuse to keep paying for something I can’t access anymore for some reason and no way to contact anyone.
After a lot of searching, I was able to figure it out, but the absolute lack of support for such a not-cheap, long-lasting app is disconcerting.

Wish it would connect to Google and Apple photos
I really wish I could choose to log into my Google Photos and pull videos from there because I’m trying to go back and do my baby’s first year of life but didn’t have the account when he was born. Now I have to download things to my phone before I can upload to 1SE and that fills my phone quickly.
