Perfect for moms
As a mom of two little ones, this app has been the perfect and EASY solution for capturing our day to day and sharing with family. Instead of posting on social media, I take 1 sec a day and at the end of the month share out ‘mashed’ seconds with grandparents, and other close family and friends. It’s been the perfect way to share our lives in a private way without it being out in social media. I have been doing this since 2021 and of all the ‘mom’ things I do, this is one of the most special, that I know we’ll treasure for years to come.

This is such a great idea, but the only way to save your clips is to pay $100/year. I already have cloud backup, can I use what I already have, nope. When I looked up on their website why, they give some BS excuse about not being able to control data or something, its just an excuse to try to force yet another subscription. I would pay a one time fee to purchase the app and store on my cloud services, but I won’t pay yet another subscription so that they can have recurring revenue at my expense.

Price Hike & Low-Quality Free Version
After 7 years of loyally using this, I realized they switched the compression options last year, and your only options are fairly low-quality or HD (for $50!). It used to be totally free to get a quality video. It is noticeably bad, and I’m disappointed to have to move my seconds over, but I will be switching to a different app.

Quick Fill Freezes
I really want this app to do well I really do. I’ve loved it and used it for several years.
My only complaint is that the quick fill feature is not consistent. It hardly ever works. It will freeze. It won’t let you swap. Sometimes you press the button to swap in the video doesn’t actually swap sometimes I’ll get all the way through making my swaps and doing my quick fill and it will just crash and freeze and nothing will happen. I love the quick fill feature and I wish it would work. I pay an annual subscription for an app that freezes almost every time I use it.

I think that this app is fantastic. This is a wonderful way to compile your favorite moments, and to have something fun to look back on as you get older.
Love the app, but suddenly I can’t find my account
I’ve been using this app for almost 6 years and recently upgraded my phone, and since then I’m unable to login. The app won’t recognize any of my emails so it won’t send me a link. I continue to pay the subscription, but there’s also no way to contact anyone for help.
Super frustrating. I don’t wanna give up everything I’ve done, but I refuse to keep paying for something I can’t access anymore for some reason and no way to contact anyone.
After a lot of searching, I was able to figure it out, but the absolute lack of support for such a not-cheap, long-lasting app is disconcerting.

Wish it would connect to Google and Apple photos
I really wish I could choose to log into my Google Photos and pull videos from there because I’m trying to go back and do my baby’s first year of life but didn’t have the account when he was born. Now I have to download things to my phone before I can upload to 1SE and that fills my phone quickly.

While I love the app it’s difficult to lean and use…

The app is pretty good but the annoying part is you have to log in every single day if you want the results and sometimes you don’t have time for that.
Next Date Text Is Ugly and Big
Hello, I truly love this app so much but the next text font that shows the date on your clips is so ugly and completely ruining the app for me. is there anyway we can change it back to the old one via settings? if not that’s okay I will just find a different similar app

Awful updates
I’ve used this app for several years and love the concept and the ease/ simplicity of the upload but over the last few years they have changed the display on montages - first by removing the location that you input which sucks because that was such a great way to see where you’d been/ match it with the image and for others to see that too. Then as of today they’ve changed he small central date text over the video to a large (horrible font) covering the left of the video. Makes no sense and is a complete downgrade from how and where the ext was before.

Using the app since 2022…
I’m not one to leave reviews, but I have been using this app for several years now and when the pop-up asked for a review, I figured it’s probably bout damn time lol! I started using the app to capture the one second everyday. At the end of the first year, I simply selected my ‘theme song’ for the year as the music and then viola a year in review in like 60 seconds. And honestly, it felt so good watching back all the moments of that first year I was hooked! That was 2022 and I still do it. You can also do other video projects too. It’s very easy to use, intuitive. I would highly recommend, you’ll love the grand reveal at the end of year!

No horizontal video
Hello everyone! After the app update, 1SE no longer supports horizontal format for editing and exporting. How is that possible — all my video projects are horizontal. How can I roll back to the previous version of the app?

This is easily my favorite app on my phone and I recommend it to every parent! I love being able to record my kids growing up and our adventures together.

I did like it…before
I used to use this app in 2018 to 2025. I then had to take it off my phone after backing it up and putting it on a cloud service with some life changes and moving. Did log in on a desktop every 6 months to avoid account inactivity deletion. I just recently got a new phone and attempted to re-download that profile the app was saying that it doesn’t exist none of my videos exist none of the cloud service exist but as the same time “welcome back” messages and I know it’s the right profile. When back to the desktop and those are all gone as well. It’s just all of it 2018 to 2024 gone it’s really frustrating because I had a lot of memories with that and thankfully, I saved each those individual videos and photos on my own that with my video editing experience I can do that on my computer, but I liked this app originally because it helped with a consistent reminder, it linked with the calendar event, dates of photos and videos taken to add a suggested picture video for that day. Also did help with the reminder for those that forget to do it every day that you can turn on and off I did like that. It was able to playback a video using very simple features instead of having to break out my entire video editing PC program looks like I’m gonna have to revert back to just PC video editing since this app deleted everything that I worked hard on and I don’t really really wanna start over. Doesn’t really seem like it’s a viable thing after using their cloud service to save and back up as well just have to go through pc video editing and compiling.
