The note-taking app space is crowded, and a lot of users won't know what they can gain from apps that offer a more powerful set of features than Apple's own Notes app. DigitalPage is a solid entry in the note-taking and information management category that deserves wider attention.
It offers an attractive, cascading "wall of notes" style layout on first opening, with support for pinning (aka "bookmarking") notes, a clean and minimal interface, tagging, coloured backgrounds, simple todo lists, the ability to add photos or images to notes, note reminders, and more.
There's no facility to add handwritten notes yet, as far as I can see— though if you're on iOS 14 with an Apple Pencil, you probably already know that you can have your handwriting recognised as text automatically. However, one of the standout features I really appreciate in DigitalPage is cross-linking between notes and the page map view that visually represents connections. If you've ever used a mind-map to map relationships between blocks of information but lamented about the hierarchical nature of mind-mapping, this may well excite you.
All this in a freely available app with a very reasonable subscription to unlock the 5GB storage limit. Looking forward to seeing this one continue to develop.
