Reviews of Circle Medical

  • Helpful for about two weeks

Getting my first prescription actually went pretty smoothly. After two appointments i was prescribed a two week supply but in order to get a refill you have to book an appointment which will run you about $80 depending on your insurance. So every two weeks you’d be paying close to $100 for a $9 prescription. On top of that, they don’t provide any documentation with diagnosis in order to go somewhere else to get a prescription which I guess makes sense from an economic stand point since they to keep you paying them $100 every two weeks. But that also means if you need accommodations for school, you have no proof of the diagnosis which is really harmful. I think in the long run, although the process may be lengthier, it is just easier to go to an actual therapist or psychiatrist to get a diagnosis and prescription that you can refill without booking an $100 appointment and you can have actual documentation and not just an app as proof.
  • Wonderful Experience for over a year now

I have Whitley Hockensmith as my primary care doctor and I’ve found her to be very professional, punctual and available. She is quick with follow-up appointments and has been able to work with me for medications for my migraines. These medications include injections, nose sprays and tablets of sumitripan. I’ve also seen other doctors here for a UTI and am finding out about a sleep study for my husband.
I did have to drive a couple of hours ONCE to see her in person so she could check my vitals, it was a one-time necessity for federal regulations. She was just as lovely in person.
They can send lab work to lab corp and deal with most common adult illnesses. Sadly nothing for pediatric yet. . . But it’s a wonderful system for busy adults who don’t have time to drive to the doctor’s office and wait 30 minutes to see a nurse and 15 more to see a doctor. . . Just to drive back home.
Circle medical has saved me countless hours and I’m grateful.
  • Definitely going down hill

I’ve been a Circle Medical user for years. I briefly moved to a state where online prescriptions weren’t accepted for ADHD treatment. When I moved back to Texas, I started using them again.

It seems like a shell of what it used to be. I had an appointment this morning at 8:00 AM. I waited the entire 20 minutes on the call and the doctor never showed up. I figured someone would eventually reach out when they saw the session never started. Nope. In fact I tried to contact support, and as of 5:05 PM the same day (a whole business day), no one has read my support message yet. I work help desk in IT and I know it gets backed up, but to have a doctor No-Call/No-Show an appointment and receive radio silence when you reach out is not acceptable. I tried to reschedule with another doctor, but since I technically had an appointment that day, it blocked me from making any more.

So now I’m sitting here 8 hours after my appointment and no one has reached out or even read my message yet. Nothing from support, nothing from the doctor. It’s especially bad that Circle Medical charges a late fee/missed appointment fee and notifies you beforehand to respect their time when they don’t return that service anymore. Sorry Circle, but I won’t be coming back.
