Not many trail options
Only a couple of the bigger trails. Not much info.
Junk app
Ordered a Hocking Hills shirt for $25 and they never sent it, but claim they did. Tried six times to chat with someone who could help, but the app is so junky, it stops letting you type when you have questions for “Spring” their customer service bot/humans (maybe). Had to contact my bank to get my money back and report the merchant as fraudulent. Such a headache.

Maps need to be updated
A nice app, especially with the limited internet access in the area. But, the hiking maps are all totally out of date! The Ash Cave map shows a trail on the left-hand side of the gorge. The park maps don't, and so I asked a ranger about that trail - he said it had been closed for over 10 years!

Helped us find something different to go and hike... instead of the same old places! Needs some updating it seems with what to do or places to eat?
A must have
I usually just “wing it “ when I’m taking a short trip or vacation. The idea is to not be tied down to any specific plans.

Quality app
I live near the Hocking Hills and attend Hocking College during the school year, which allows me to frequently visit the beautiful areas that were gifted to have. This app is able to get me to where I want to hike and shows me photos of accurate depictions of the foreseen trail ahead, I would recommend this app to anyone visiting the area. Take it from a local that you will not be disappointed.

Misleading
The directions to each trail were inaccurate. The picture for the whispering cave trail is misleading and inaccurate. It features a large man-made stairway through the picturesque cave side. That doesn’t exist. The trail is rated moderate to difficult, that area where the pic shows that awesome staircase is actually stone steps that are uneven and treacherous. We lost the trail at one point because it wasn’t labeled throughout. I’m glad the app was free...

Hocking hills
We love this area of Ohio so much we live here.We love to ride the many scenic byways and back roads on our motorcycle through 3 seasons of the year. No better place to be!
Not what I expected
I heard about this app and a few days before I went down to hocking hills for the weekend I thought this app would be useful nope I was wrong.
The app never did work because of no cell service or access to the internet.. I have contacted the developers that made the app and they are hoping to make improvements in the future.

Hello, Thanks for the feedback. As mentioned in our emails there are still many features that work without cell service such as hiking info and maps along with driving maps when cell service is not available for GPS directions. Because we know cell service is not readily available in the Hocking Hills, we continue to add features that can be used without it. Thanks again for the feedback.
