Great game , l did find it extremely difficult to use the full gas tank with the machine with jumper leads - not sure if this is a little glitch - otherwise , great fun !Fatlarry40

Fantastic game, iffy controls
I've had the pc version of the game for some time now but I've never been able to properly play it because it would invariably crash once I finished chapter 2 (although I did manage to get to chapter 3 once) but now I'll hopefully have the chance to play the game in its entirety thanks to dotemu.
Unfortunately a problem that both the original and the port have is that the controls aren't nearly as good as they could be. In the original you would guid max along with your cursor rather than clicking a location and having him walk there. That coupled with his slow walking speed made things very tedious. This port has the same issues PLUS some wonky touch controls. The game is very slow paced so it won't effect your ability to play it but it will occasionally be a botherShow lessaywot

A classic!
This was one of my favorite games as a teen. I would have dreamt to play it on the go on a touch screen back then! It sounds so futuristic.Momsgonegeek
Just like the PC game, however...
I agree that better instructions are needed, and it does crash too much. Right now I'm stuck in the hive because the scanner won't accept the mechanical arm. Two days of touching every millimeter of the screen has left me frustrated! Please fix. I want to finish.orange96su
Ok but bad controls
Just like I remember playing on my PC but the touch controls make it hard to press the correct response and even walk around.laz22
Classic - controls need work
It is one of my favorite PC games. Sadly the iOS version did not have a manual so it took a while to figure out using items. Also the touch controls are wonky. I knew where to dig and had to do it a dozen times to make it work. They need to work on that as other gamers might have had problems solving that puzzle. Overall so far so good.Show lessRustymeister

Welcome Home, Sanitarium!
This is a big surprise! I never thought I'd see one of my favourite horror games received an iOS port. It was a stroke of luck that I found it on the App Store and I'm glad I did.
The conversion to iOS is incredibly well done. The UI is well placed and the graphics look sharper and more colourful than the original. The only problem is choosing the dialogue in the game because the text is too small.
Sanitarium iOS does not disappoint and I recommend anyone who wants a piece of a horror history in gaming to download this now. It's worth the scare!Show lessKrisFrosz133
