Too many commercials?
I’ve been a regular listener for years, and I wanted to pass along some respectful feedback. Over the last couple of years, it seems like more and more time is being spent on breaks and advertising. Even the app makes you clear ads before you can get to the content. It’s frustrating.
Don’t get me wrong, I understand advertising pays the bills, but it feels like the balance has gotten out of hand.
My car radio is set to 92.5 FM, so it’s always on when I get in the car. But if I turn it on and hear advertising first, I usually move on to something else.
I enjoy the station and want to keep listening, so I mean this constructively. Is there a better balance between the content and the advertising?

Doesn’t work most the time
Many times I try to listen live and the app just doesn’t work. I’ll hit the play button and get a spinning wheel for about 2 seconds, and then the play button pops up again. Happens over and over. I’d say it actually works 25% of the time. The programs themselves are great, but I find myself listening to them a day late on Apple Podcasts.

Ads suck
I travel constantly for work a rely on this app everyday to stay up on Jax and FL sports. Give me an option to pay $1 a $10 per year to get rid of the ads. It is so annoying when trying to log in and wait for the stupid ads to finish to open the app. Some of them freeze on the ad and you have to close and reopen to move on. Other than that the app content is great.

iPad issues
I have 2 iPads (1 new and one older )and both have issues with ad splash pages after I hit play. Most times I have to repeatedly close and reopen. Windows laptops work fine.
Horrible app
Invest some money and create an app that's main focus is supporting your customer base not supporting ads. Embarrassing.
1010XL App
I thoroughly enjoy listening to 1010 and have so for years. I find the the app itself somewhat frustrating to use as the pop up ads are unpredictable and inconsistent with regards to how to click through them the get to content
Ads make it hard to use
Understand you guys need the ads to make revenue. But the way they are formatted on the app and take it over makes the app difficult to use. You should be able to watch the ad or have it pop up without affecting the usability.
The pop up ads are the downfall of the app.
The add sometime play and won’t let the show start after. Super annoying….
Obnoxious Ads
I love being able to catch up with shows and it is fair to play an ad before starting. I get it. Modernization. But the game ads that go on forever are annoying and worse, the dumbest feature ever, is when you pause the podcast it plays an ad. If I hit cause I want the noise to stop. I often listen while I'm at work or doing chores around the house and if someone needs to speak to me I paused because I need the dang sound to stop. Not because I want to hear an ad. So then I just have to close out the app completely. A lot of times it is so annoying I just don't return. I don't understand developers who don't understand what pause. It's not that difficult.

Great content poor execution
The people in charge of this app are more worried about ads popping up than delivering a good product. Constantly stops streaming so an ad pops up and then clocking so you have to restart app and then of course another ad
It used to be awesome….
The app was wonderful until all the stupid pop ads invaded it. They are everywhere when first trying to listen to a show and it takes way too long for the option to skip/terminate them!

They ruined this app by getting greedy with all the advertising.

Trying to listen to the app but all I get is a Subaru ad and then it crashes.
Terrible App
They play gambling shows during Jags games, it stops and starts frequently, breathe on it and it exits app and opens ad in a web browser, sells ads to sketchy “your phone has a virus!” type scams. Piss poor.
Great Content but Constantly Cutting Out
Love our local radio talent but last few months the app is almost impossible to listen to live streams. It’s constantly cutting out and ads are popping up constantly. Please update/upgrade this app. Hopefully update later.
Excellent local sports station
My wife and I enjoy your station. We left political talk radio 3 years ago, and found 1010XL to be a fantastic alternative. This is the only station in Jacksonville that we Liston to.
My wife enjoys helmets and heels new time period…..personally Im pleased with the 2 hour formats……and I really enjoy Leon Searcy. He keeps things in perspective as a former player. He opions count with me.
