This suite of apps has a lot of features, unfortunately some of the key features are unreliable and support is non-existent. I have been trying to use the FITIV Ride app with my iPhone and Apple Watch. I want to stream the heart rate info from the watch to the phone. It works except that it I receive a “Waiting for data” message on the phone over half the time. When I ride, my watch is 10 inches from my phone. I submitted a support ticket, no response. I went ahead and subscribed for a month in hopes there would be a solution. The app doesn’t recognize my subscription, and the restore purchases link generates an error every time. If I don’t hear back soon, I will be contacting Apple for a refund on my non-working subscription.Show lessChristopherJ62
Surprising lack of features. Unreliable.
For a cycling specific app, it’s odd to me that the display doesn’t show speed or power. Seems an oversight.
Aside from that, it loses connection to the Apple Watch and spins while trying to connect.
No benefit over FitIV’s generic app.jppnnc
Good function
I have been using FITIV ride for about a year now. Heart rate is recorded by my Apple Watch, live streamed to my iPhone which is mounted on my handle bars. Can access and play music from my playlists to my Bluetooth earphones from control button within the app which is good. Configurable metrics on the live stream dash board is good so it shows you what you want to see, like average pace, heart rate, last km pace, etc. also has live voice feedback through the earphones which’s talks to you about your chosen metrics of choice at intervals set by you. has a good data review dash as well for looking at each ride with tracked Heart rate graph, altitude loss gains and gps track record. Pretty much does the lot. Issues that I have found with the app are: altitude metric not available via live feedback (it is an option but it always says zero meters during live feedback) but it is being recorded in the background for review late in the dashboard where it displays correctly.
Some minor issues with connectivity between watch, iPhone and earphones, but is usually overcome fairly easily.
Live lap time button is not available that I have seen despite requesting this through support.
Subscription access glitch when changing to a new phone - overcome by uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
Support team usually contact within a day or two to assist with issues.
Overall a good application which covers most bases very well for mtb riding fitness tracking and live display.Show lessEdoMTB

Great features for the pricey!
I have enjoyed using all the apps from FITIV, especially FITIV Ride since I’m now riding a lot more than anything else. It’s a great app for the value, $29 a year is the cheapest subscription you can find out there. It also syncs with my favorite Riding app Strava!pc_tech
It stinks
Does not work on the Iphone 11. Does not start after start is pushed. After you start your ride, the start button comes back up, and it still will not start. Meanwhile, contacting support garnered no responses.Geefivefivezeropilot
In-depth cycling tool
I used FITIV Pulse for running/walking and hiking and is an awesome product. I decide to try FITIV Ride and is awesome to track progress, HR, Altitude, climbs, etc. I recommended this app.COJOSO
Best cycling and heart rate monitor app!
