Bin it
This was a very useful app in the beginning, but over the last 6 months or so has become very slow and that’s an understatement, takes literally hours to find your address from your postcode
Poor postcode search
When it works it is good but too often the postcode search does not work and therefore you can not find your address to search for the bin dates. Quite useless.
What has changed?
The app worked perfectly well on my iPad until the last couple of weeks, now it just sits and looks for my address and doesn’t perform. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, but no joy. What changed?
What happened?
I’ve even using this app for years and wouldn’t be without it, but now I am because it’s suddenly not recognising my address, in fact, no addresses show up! It just has a thing saying “searching for address” with a cog going around and around. To say I’m upset is an understatement.
Almost great…
Love the layout, functionality, all that stuff. One problem though - am able to add bin dates to calendar on iPhone, but not on iPad - on IPad, doesn’t enable me to select a calendar. If that were fixed, it’d be perfect.
Was good now not working properly
Initially worked well & would show what you could put in each bin but now won’t work . Does show which bin to put put each week though.
Useful app
I was looking for a place to drop off my glass recyclables today and this app came in handy. Found the disposal for glass quickly and was on my way.
Yes tells you the bin dates but can’t save?
I have more than one calendar as have google calendar & my iPhone one & it won’t let me choose the calendar it only brings up a shared one I had for a holiday... not brilliant.

The App Store is littered with rubbish apps - I refuse to waste my time on any of them. This is simply the best app for bin collection in Leeds that I’ve ever used, and that is not a throw-away statement. Not to trash any of those other garbage apps out there, but if you’ve not bin using this one, you are missing out. It’s the best one at your disposal.

This is such a useful app and even more so with the ability to add to your calendar and the reminder to add latest collection dates.
