Fantastic, intuitive puzzle game with flow
After doing only a couple puzzles, I was already intuiting the line lengths rather than counting them; combined with the surprisingly responsive controls, it felt like I was making wizard-like Tetris moves on the fly.
The game also has a level of polish and flare you’d expect from Nintendo rather than a small indie studio. The fact that it’s free, and doesn’t have third-party ads, definitely makes me want to support them by buying additional puzzles.
The only serious criticism I have is that some of the shades of gray are hard to distinguish from each other. On one of the very early puzzles, it took me a few moments to realize I was matching the wrong colors! The colorblind options are a nice inclusion, but don’t help with this problem unfortunately.
Another minor criticism is that I’d like to be able to skip the short “materialize” cutscenes in story mode, but at this point I’m nitpicking. Just try the game already!
