Description boxes randomly change
I like the app but when I am typing in info for a picture, it will automatically change other boxes. Example: I'll type in title, ISO, aperture, date, and when I scroll back up, all the boxes have changed to what I put in for ISO. So I'll fix it, scroll to verify, and now everything is what I put in for the lens. Makes it nearly impossible to upload a photo with accurate info. Needs to be fixed or I'll just end up deleting the app.Show lessZlevi639
Photo quality on tablet is horrible
I was invited to YouPic and have been slowly checking it out. There seems to be a huge community of amateur photographers, but not a lot of pros, which seemed a bit odd at first. However after spending a week with it I understand a little more. First off I use my tablet for most viewing and on an iPad the image quality is horrible. Secondly I’m always looking for inspiration, and there are some really great images and photographers, but you really have to search hard and long to find them. I don’t have that kind of time. I can’t speak to other comments about engagement because personally I have yet to upload an image, and at this point I’m not sure which way I’ll go.Show lessIan Hylands
Meh
The whole experience is hyped at the start but it just doesn't seem to go anywhere. The app is very dull ironically and the Instant Messaging system is terrible. You can't respond to comments and as far as comments go, none of them seem genuine, everyone who comments on photos seem so robotic and forced-seeming, if you get any comments at all. I wouldn't waste your time on YouPic unless you are a dedicated photographer. I love the idea of what YouPic tries to do. But I feel like there is something missing.Show lessJaykekaCB
I don't do reviews often.
But this is bad. The app is super slow to respond to anything you do. Another reviewer was comparing that it is a way better experience going to the website on your computer. Just forget the app and use the mobile website. This is my second day using the app, and can say the mobile site even picks up the EXIF which the dedicated app DOES NOT. WHAT??? It would be better if the app just made a homepage bookmark so when you opened it, it would simply open the mobile site in your browser.Show lessJangogigalo
Not fit for Apple users
This App no longer offers it full services to Apple users.
Apple should pull it from the App Store.
This is an official complaint. Apple California should take heed of these other reviews in conjunction with mine. This App used to work tremendously well, but has had no functionality for well over a year. Waiting for it to work is just not good enough. I'll sign into YouPic using the iPhone app several times per week just to check my notifications, or to show someone my work...
I've not tried uploading a photo from the phone as of yet because I mainly shoot RAW images with my Nikon D700...
Considering the small screen size of my phone vs my laptop this works fairly well, although it would be nice to be able to flip the phone horizontally so as to increase the viewed photos size.Show lesshughfwolfe
Endless emails & sign in problems
Cannot unsubscribe from daily emails offering discounts on memberships.
Also, app doesn't seem to remember that you're signed in.Homer3456

Had its annoyances at the beginning.
But now the app is easy to use. Great interface.

Something is fishy
Received a few invites via email to join YouPic. So I did. First little while I had lots of photo views, favourites, and followers. A couple of days ago I received an invite to subscribe to the premium service. I ignored the offer and the promo code subsequently expired. Now...pretty much no views on my photos, no new followers, nothing. Fishy? Yes. Fishy. Seems very fake and a money grab for empty promises. Don't fall for it.Show lessThisIsMeHereAtHome
