All the speakers

I’m so grateful for this speaker app, especially since Covid has hit and there isn’t as many meetings. I find myself really relating with the speakers and find peace from my disease when I listen to another alcoholic tell their story. Thank you for this

Subscription did not unlock

I bought the subscription plan, was charged and subscribed but nothing in the app unlocked. There is no contact information

Thank you

Thank you to those men and women who not only share their experience, strength, and hope on this platform; but also a thanks to those men and women who made this app possible on the backend (developers), without your selflessness and willingness to see this amazing app through to fruition, eyes such as myself would not be able to see and hear the words that are life saving.

I have been an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 15 years of continuous sobriety, however as my higher power and the rooms voice warn, time is simply a number and all I have is today.

The further I get from my last drink the more I can become a product of my environment, and just as alcoholics are not just addicted to alcohol, so is a sober person not just one dimensional insomuch as “if I don’t drink, then I am ok”, after 10 years my emotional sobriety was called into question. Who am I? Am I truly living the steps and practicing these principles in all my affairs? Am I living and breathing step 12?

I humbly testify as I write this review, the past year hardened me, calcified my views, and girded my heart; this app and the amazing content were a call to action and introspection.

I hope this review can be a signpost to if just one lost soul in the wilderness to not give up hope, come home and be nourished in the love, compassion, and mercy of AA and it’s members who simply only want to help those other alcoholics become happy, joyous, and free!

Thank you for letting me share.

Yours in Christ.

Why the marketing?

If I paid for this app, why would this developer be constantly asking if I want to “give you a boost” in Facebook to promote the app. That’s why I paid for it, because I don’t wants adds or solicitation. Had I been using it for free, then I complete understand the ask and I would do it with all my heart. Besides this, I absolutely love the app. Three stars today for the stated reason. If I keep getting these solicitation adds I’ll come back and rate at one star, and will encourage everyone else to do the same. Again, just to make sure, when I click on the app that I paid for, I’d like to go straight to the content, not be ambushed by attempts to help you make more money, btw, with content that you shouldn’t be profiting from on the first place. Unless profits are going to benefit 12 step recovery programs.

Response from developer

Thank you for your review. This will be removed from the app in the next update immediately.

Big Sound Problem - App is not working properly

Upgraded and nothing is working

Poor audio

The app has a lot of potential and great content. I give it 2 stars because majority of the tracks have poor audio recording. I paid for the premium membership hoping the audio might be better on those tracks and it wasnt. You can hear a lot of clattering in the background, people coughing, moving around, and some of the speakers do a lot of ‘um’ ‘uh’ ‘and uh’. It would be nice for the app developers to invest in a sound booth and have members record their messages with less distraction.
