Description of AR Periodic Table of Elements

AR App for AR Enhanced Periodic Table Presented by Tokyo Electron Introduction Tokyo Electron’s Periodic Table of Elements (Japanese and English) with augmented reality (AR) features was published in the Asahi Shimbun newspaper on July 22, 2017, as well as on the company’s own website (http://www.tel.co.jp/genso/en/). TEL’s AR app is a dedicated augmented reality application that makes learning fun. It reads each of the element cards data from AR cameras and supports the Japanese and English versions of the AR Enhanced Periodic Table. With narration included, the AR app enables a deeper level of understanding of the elements. This app is provided for use with the 2017 edition of TEL's Periodic Table of Elements (Japanese and English). The 2017 edition includes nihonium (Nh), an element that was only officially named in November 2016. The latest update added support for iPad. Using the app 1. Open the app and press the camera button of the Periodic Table of Elements that you want to see (Japanese or English) and then open the camera screen. 2. Hold the camera over an element card on the poster ad or visit the TEL website to load up a video. 3. Press the play button to watch Dr. Elements and others talk about the element selected.
