Il est dommage que le Robert mobile n’ait pas inclus la nouvelle orthographe dans son appli.

Ouvrage formidable et super utile. Je le trouve très complet. J’ai été agréablement surpris d’y trouver même des noms propres. Malheureusement une petite lacune: à la différence des mots communs, il manque la transcription phonétique aux noms propres.
Essential but outdated.
Works great as a standalone dictionary and to lookup conjugation of verbs. Compared to other apps (Linguee, which is free), its woefully behind. The app doesn’t appear on the shared menu, which means you cannot, for example, highlight text in mail and tap share to look a word or phrase up in Le Robert Mobile. This is a real shame, as it would be extremely useful to look it up. Also, it hasn’t partnered up with Workflow, which would allow users to do a similar action themselves.

Indispensable
A great version of the print Robert dictionary. I use it nearly daily for definitions and conjugation. No more excuse if you mixup your modes and tenses!

Disappointing
It is nearly identical to the "Robert for iPad" app that this developer was selling 3 years ago and dropped just to be able to charge $8.99 for a "new" app. Nearly identical, but in fact slightly inferior: The "Robert for iPad" contained some graphics. For example, the entry for a country would provide the country's flag and a couple of maps. This "new, improved" app got rid of this kind of material. I really regret purchasing it since, by the time I actually move on to iOS 11, the developer will probably have come up with a new app replacing this one, a new app with even less content, needless to say.

Bonne application, fonctions intéressantes
Je suis très satisfait de cette application cependant elle pourrait bénéficier d'un mode pour apprendre et réviser les mots retenus dans les favoris. Cela permettrait à l'utilisateur d'élargir son vocabulaire plus facilement.

I am learning French by reading French ebooks, among other things.
I literally cannot imagine how much more difficult it would be to learn French without this app.
It is much more convenient than a regular dictionary because you can cut a word from the ebook/article/whatever, then paste it into the search bar of the app. That is MUCH faster than using a paper dictionary.
The word is almost always in the dictionary -- with French definitions, usage, verb conjugations, special usages, ..
You can look up a verb from any of its forms. I.e., you do not need to know the infinitive.
There are a few small gaps, but overall this really sets the standard for a well-designed dictionary app. I only wish I could find similar apps for other languages.

Had to rebuy?!?!
Loved this app been using it for years. Suddenly the old doesn't work or exist... now I'm buying the same thing again... not cool.

précédente! Il y aurait dû y avoir une mise à jour gratuite de l'application. Manque de respect envers les utilisateurs.
Un autre fournisseur m'avait avisé d'attendre la mise à jour de son produit avant d'installer ios10.
