I highly recommend Chrome as ones home town bank!! I’ve been with them since 2012, I have to be honest in the beginning it was a little rocky due too my account being switched over from my previous Credit Union being closed down for legal issues!! I grew to love and appreciate and the warm reception and response from the representative over the years!! I couldn’t ask for better service from any other local banks!! Ever-changing Security Steps
I recently tried to add a new payable account and was prevented by having to resign back into my account! I tried to, but there is a problem with my password. I had changed it and apparently wrote it down incorrectly. Now I need to get assistance from my wife to change my password! Why?
I was originally against the merger of Pgh Central Federal Credit Union with Chrome, but accepted it. You have good people working for you! I do all my banking on my phone at home. I won’t access my account outside my home unless absolutely forced to do it. I don’t use an outside Wi-Fi to avoid the possibility of corrupting my personal information.

I have used and continue to use apps from other FI’s, all of which are much larger that CHROME FCU. The CH app is much easier to use and is much more intuitive.
One example is when I move money. In other apps they tell you the remains limit on your LOC and not the actual balance. It’s a pain to need to do math to see how much I need to pay off the balance. The CH app tells me the balance. Also the CH app Biometric login ALWAYS works vs 40% uptime at a military cu that is 100 times larger. There are another ares like these where the CHROME app really stands out. Kudos to my cu and their partner Banno.

I absolutely hate the new app. Need to go back to original. Much easier to transfer and to see all accounts know what’s due when.
