Weird boring

And awful controls. Not worth any money.

Haunted train

Not bad, a great way to waste/kill time, keeps ya thinking and before you know it 3-4 hours are gone. A lot of fun and not frustrating, but if you needed it, there's always the magic hint button to get you heading in the right direction.

Disappointed too!!

Awkward game....lot of wasted scenes and videos and no puzzles. We buy these to play not watch. Lot of tapping to back out of scenes. So frustrating!

Frozen in time - it freezes all right!

Jerky, clunky, occasionally crashes, makes my iPad run really hot! That said....there is something addicting about this game. Storyline marvelous, well hidden butterflies to collect, morphing objects in HO but only once the jewel box appears upper right HO. Transporting indicated map. Few vermin but no close ups, brief interaction. I will keep playing I want to see how the plot plays out

Short short short

The game itself was quite acceptable, but it gets only 3 stars from me because it was so short. Don't pay full price for this game. The story was decent and the graphics okay. The map and hint button worked nicely. The puzzles were a bit too easy although a couple of the HOs were unique. But the game was short. I believe that this is what the game creators and distributors are doing to make more money. Instead of raising their prices, they're making the games shorter. Costs the creators less and gets us to buy games more frequently since they're shorter. I enjoy playing these games, but I'm not paying full price anymore. Oh, the game crashes during the bonus game, so we don't even get that.

Frozen in time

Bit boring, difficult to go back to another location and quite jerky

This "Train" Dumped Me in the "Freezing Cold"!

All Reviewers:

As stated in my last review, the developer, Absolutist, has released a new HOA entitled "Space Legends: At the Edge of the Universe," which costs only $2.99. So far, it is generating positive reviews. In addition, Artifex Mundi is conducting a sale this week on several of their games for a price range of between $1.99 to $2.99. Good games for good prices!

Well, this plot is quite "coo-coo"! It's fundamentally your typical supernatural fantasy with dark overtones mixed in, but it fails to generate an attention-grabbing reaction. I find myself rather unimpressed. The graphics are visually lackluster since they are very blotchy and muddy. The colors exhibit neutral, earthy shades of blue, green, brown, and yellow. You can customize your settings so that you can take off sparkles and search penalties; however, faulty programming ensures that I still have sparkles even though I turned off that option. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. One positive aspect to note is that the movement of inventory items is exceptionally speedy. The map allows fluid transport to labeled locations and indicates available objectives. You are given a "back" button to avoid unwanted returns to prior scenes. Unfortunately, a journal is excluded. Transition is seamless and brisk; other than sparkles, no other glitches to report. The HOS are a disappointment; so far, they are mostly interactive word lists without much creativity. In addition, you revisit the same scenes twice; and this adds a sense of insipidity. The puzzles are interesting though; for example, I loved the one where you move the figures to their corresponding flags as you gain parts of the backstory. The collectibles are fairly visible in placement. To sum it up, there are no "outside-of-the-box" elements presented here. Furthermore, the story is bland; and it fails to stimulate or rouse me. Moreover, the game has an outdated feel. I cannot suggest this one due to the reasons stated above, as well as the noted technical flaws with regards to the custom settings. My rating is only three (3) stars.

Fun game!

Really enjoying this game. Quite different puzzles and searches.
Neat graphics, no problems.

Don't bother

Don't bother with this game. It won't even let you save your name before it crashes, let alone play it.

Could be good

Story looks good and the game has potential but it's vey glitchy. Dead seconds moving between scenes and the timing fan/mouse when you click incorrect areas. The music is also played louder than the conversations so makes it really hard to concentrate. Not a purchase for me this time.
