The first time I got this game I was like wow this game is great then I played sim city and went like Nah! I like the other game more because I can do lots of stuff into like create a city and do more.nothappyatall1
Don’t waste your time with this game
Am on level 123 and have totally given up. Game started crashing on level 86 and since then i have sent dozens of emails to contact support centre, and still waiting for a response. Game now crashes 10 seconds into game making it impossible to play. Left messages on their facebook page, their website. Wish i could rate this game with zero stars cos thats more than what they deserve.
Update installed which means that game now crashes before you can actually do anything, congratulations to game creators for being so utterly useless.Show lessI want reimbursed

We answer all emails that we receive, and all within 24 hours. If you haven't received a response then we haven't received an email. If you need technical help with the game, please send an email to our support team who will be happy to help you. We cannot offer technical support in the review system. If your game is closing it will be due to insufficient memory on your device. When there is not enough memory to run the game, iOS will close the app. Freeing up memory on your device will help. There are guides online to help you with this.Solid game
I really like this game! It works really well and has lots of things to do and customise which I like a lot. One thing to improve on would be a button that quick collects all your money instead of tapping each individual building which can get tedious. It’s not a big problem, I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes to build cities.

I was playing designer city 2 but it crashed on my iPhone every five minutes. Designer 1 seems to be much better, hope it stays this way when I get to level 45bretgp

This is a great little game, but app won’t start since today’s update. Hopefully they’ll get it fixed soon and I can check out the new buildings.
By the way, devs, if you read this - we could do with some more road types (dirt track, motorway, side street etc) and some maybe a few alternative versions of things like the parking lotsShow lessNursepurr
Almost great
This game has massive potential to be amazing. However, if you look at the greatest city building games out there, you have the whole map immediately available. I find the purchasing of land to be a problem. It breaks up the flow of the game and repeatedly leaves me having to move my city around. Or it becomes difficult to develop a good plan around it. It’s also terrible that the expansion is 1 block outward around the map. To feel the effect of the expansion you have to completely remap your city. Finally, I feel the buildings being locked is a problem. Rather than locking buildings there should be population or monetary requirements but regardless leave them open to use. Finally, the increasing cost of placing the same building seems like a money making scam for the devs. It breaks up the aesthetics of a neighborhood or city block. This game had so much potential but there are things that feel like you’re forced to spend real money to develop your city and restrictions that make the city building clunkyShow lessopticscumperjumper

Thank you for your review, we appreciate your feedback. Buildings can be unlocked at any time using either money or gold. Buildings will unlock naturally for free as you progress through the game. The buildings increase by half of the original cost for each of the same building placed. There are well over 1000 buildings and decorations in Designer City so there is no requirement to place lots of the same building. As your city grows, your income will increase to balance this cost. There will never be a requirement to spend real money in the game. In app purchases are available for players who wish to speed up progress. The small amount of players that do make purchases enable us to continue to support and develop the game. this game is really grate, but the thing is the cash is hard to get and then you coins you need it’s just madness you need all this stuff ,.... but on the bright side really good it has all the dream things you will have ,Oh yeah the ADs there are not loads but they are annoying. But I think you should play it, it’s a grate game and there are dreams on it so yes you should play it '....Show lessnoah shooter

This game is brilliant! Here’s some cool things that I think will make it even better!
• Option to build highways/motorways. So these will be different to regular roads, and will connect different thoroughfares of the city and will often go over parts of the districts and over some roads
• multi-lane road. So the standard road is essential, but multi-lane roads would be awesome in major traffic areas e.g. the middle of downtown (Central business district)
• canals. These will add a whole new dimension of wow in the transport aspect. I’ve seen it in other city building games, would love to see it here as well.
• ability to create networks in public transports. Now this is a big thing, but basically rather than having the random pattern that trains, monorails and busss follow, if we’d be able to create different routes. THAT WOULD BE EPIC!

Great Game
This is a really good game. There’s always enough money and they have a few tutorials to start you off and teach you how to play the game. After those you can do what you want with your city.mojobeyoncejlo
Surprisingly well crafted
Pros
A well designed , addictive game. Better than most city building apps out there .
Graphics and nice remind me of sim city 2000.
Lots of scope to create your own city.
Ads are optional to get gold which is appreciated.
Cons
There’s a lack of strategy but I guess it’s more a city building game than a city management sim.
Collecting cash is a pain.
Very difficult to get all the buildings without paying for for lots of micro transactions which I hate. Rather than micro transactions I’d rather pay a one off charge for a full game and maybe add on packs.
Suggestions
More types or roads - freeways or dirt tracks
More detailing options - eg abandoned cars , graffiti for low scale areas
Pro version where you pay a one off fee and unlock everything through levelling up (no micro transactions!)Show lessHocuspocus123
