This game is great if your looking for something to relieve boredom. You can expand your city using realistic building and limitless decorations. The game works as advertised no secret matching games, or money needed. Works without glitches and runs as every game should. Great functionality and excellent design, very well thought out. Relaxing sim game.
A friendly city building game that you can play without feeling pressured into buying stuff. I like that there isn’t any catastrophic events and I don’t have to worry about my city getting destroyed. My only complaints are, I wish we could rotate the view of the city, and customize the colors on the buildings, especially the houses.Show lessScary Driver
Exquisite Game, One of a few
I been playing this game off and on since 2020, every time when I get on I notice new buildings or changes that further deepens this game, and as of now this game is amazing and perfect, however I wish the developers will make the graphics of the water better instead of having the water be whooshing around back in fourth, so to make the water mechanic better I recommend for you guys to have all the water in all of the tiles to be flowing in one direction for like 10 minutes and vice versa which is optional by the player. Or if you want, during the day night cycle you can have a tide effect where the shore line shrinks or expands as if there is a invisible moon effecting the water direction and water level. But of course if this is implemented into the game, there should be ways you can customize the water edges, for example if a player want to have a cliff rather than beach he or she can have it and vice versa. You developers can also make it that reflections can be seen in the water if enabled by the player, however that is something that I think can causes lag. But that why it should be optional by the player. Just imagine a clam beach at night with bright refections of the buildings illuminated on the water as if you are looking into the mirror.Show lessWater Graphics Advice
Better Than The 2nd One
I love Designer City way more than the second one, in this game it’s more complex- the models for the buildings look better (imo) and the landscaping and different roads you can choose is just great. The lights at night are really what inspire me to write “night-city” inspired stories, and there’s just something so beautiful and nice about city lights at pitch black night with stars in the sky. This game seems less confusing than the second game and in the words of Todd Howard, “It just works”. Chilled out city-building
I love this game! Far more relaxed and straight forward approach to city building so you can build your dream city without worrying too much about killing everyone🤣works a lot like an idle game where you come back a few times a day once your cash has regenerated and you spend another 20-30 minutes on it. Great to play when you’re bored because if you’re not careful you can easily sink an hour or two into this!Show lessAlfdude
Nice game but a free build mode would make it more fun imo
This is a real nice game fun to decorate and everything, except most things require later game unlocks and it would be more fun to build those cool things early and just have fun with the cool buildings. Other games have something called sandbox which makes most things free. Still, great game.jsnyder1234
Absolutely beautiful! BUT…
***UPDATE 2022***
The latest update has re-locked some of my previously unlocked tiles, particularly the top & left sections of the map (the buildings & roads are still on the land, but to do anything I have to unlock them again). I have had to waste so many game coins re-unlocking the tiles; it’s very frustrating! I’d been saving them up for some of the nicer buildings. Please fix it asap. Once sorted I will happily change this review back to 5 stars.

This game has been an absolute pleasure to play and relax to; challenging enough to be entertaining, but not so much that it makes you angry & lose interest. The design work is lovely, too. There are in-app purchases available; however, it’s possible to play it all for free, it doesn’t drag everything out too long either, which I think is absolutely lovely & refreshing. It’s basically like the original tycoon games; I’m really enjoying it & silently hoping they create more along similar lines. I actually loved the game so much that I bought some coins just as thanks to the creator; it feels weird that it’s a free app AND free to play without any manipulative catches AND high quality… But yeah, it’s definitely worth trying if you just wanna build & escape into your own little world for a while. 😊Show lessHellOnHighWHeels

We are sad you rated the game badly. This happens when you open the game in an older version that does not support the land size increase in the previous update. This is not a problem with the game. It is important to keep all of your devices updated.Great game thus far …….
I’ve played this game for a little bit over a year now and I’m pleased with the updates and the game overall. The only thing I wish was possible is being able to use our money and gold collected in designer city and use these resources in designer city 2. That would be very great !!
And I would like to know why there are more buildings, like more stadiums, in designer city 2 and not designer city 1? I would like to have those same buildings in designer city 1 without having to play a whole new game and work a long time to achieve these buildings.Show lessbreezy HBOAFM
Poor App Support
Great app,lots of wasted fun time. Although make sure you don’t upset the main support staff in real life otherwise she will block you’re device so you cannot login. And when you contact the support team to ask why? You will be fed a load of nonsense. I have 3 Apple devices. All on iCloud, She tried telling me that my iPad memory’s full,which it isn’t. Yet my old iPhone 6 with less memory and all the same stuff (apps) etc can login with no issues.

Best City Game Since the old SimCity Games.
Love this game. Info however have a couple of ideas for change.
1. Be allowed to rotate city view. This would help in placement.
2. The price of everything shouldn’t rise each time you place another of the same objective. If I go buy a tree to plant in my yard, decide I like it and go buy another. Lowes doesn’t charge me more for the second tree.
