Simple and No fuss
Blocks ads as expected. Not a power-user app, so if you’re looking for customisation, another app might be better.cached up
Works well, but issues with online shopping?
When I use it for my regular googling and such it works great! However, whenever I try to go to an add or I’ll search a product and try to go to the website it will show “URL blocked by content blocker” and then l have to go and switch it off just to look at the site.
Is this a bug or something I need to change in my settings? (I don’t want to have to go through and whitelist all the websites I shop on)Show lesskenz488

Effective and easy to use!
BlockBear has a really simple interface that’s easy to use and it does block ads very effectively. Some sites won’t open because they are configured to block ad blockers and you can add these to the BlockBear whitelist if you still want to open them.Rusty Purple

Works so well I forget it’s on my iPad.
This app works so well and is not intrusive in any way, I forget it’s there.
I look at a particular football media site that is full of adverts and pop ups. With BlockBear running I get blank areas where the adverts would have been. Great app thank you. Al.DAl-Dorri
It does block ads on Safari but…
While I do like this blocker in general, the problem I’ve had with it is due to the difficulty in shutting it off as it requires drilling down into settings to do so. If it had an easy switch instead I’d give it all 5 stars but I also can’t figure out how to access the whitelist itself either. There is a way to whitelist sites but when I tried to use it, the wrong URL popped up with NO way to edit it. That’s not very useful but was a great idea to have one. The app needs a little work and I hope they think about fixing these issues.Show lessLoq1
Great App
I’ve been using this app for some time now. It does exactly what it says and blocks all ads and tracking. Easy to enable and disable. Simply tap the AA in iPhone Safari browser or Tap the jigsaw icon on iPad > manage extensions. Switch it on or off. You’ll need to do this sometimes for tracked email links and ads that you select. It’s cute, but…
I’m finding it blocks legitimate links, eg search results, and sometimes actually typed in addresses, across multiple devices.
Easily fixed by slipping the switch, but niggly all the same.Peafarm
App is no longer blocking ads like before
I have been using this app for a couple years and it’s been great but lately it no longer blocks clickbait in other apps or emails and I have no clue why. I switched iphone from 12 to 15 recently and re installed BlockBear and it doesn’t work as before with all settings the same.carrera53
