Seems like it would have been interesting
The footage is really poorly stitched together and the camera angle is changing too often without moving your head that it's just hard to make sense of anything. Once they tweak their methods this could be cool.
Very bad
Looks horrible
Pathetic
Wrapped image, no 3D, boring, flat, uber Lo-resolution. The kind of app that gives VR a bad name. Terrible
Not a skydive
That's a hop and pop.... Extremely disappointing, and I have no idea how this is over 0.6 of a GB!
Awful!!!
The video quality is so bad. I looked at it for 10 seconds with my google cardboard and it made me so dizzy I thought I was going to puke. doesn't look real at all and I've been sky diving many times. don't waste your tim
Not great. Just not great.
Tried to use with Google Cardboard. Not good. Very neat concept. But since the video platform was not stable, the video is very hard to manage. Just not good.
Great job
I think this is a great experience fore people who can't afford to jump out of a real plane but this Vr I think is a great experience
Bad all around
Bad video quality and does not even work with VR glasses/goggles, does not match up to the curved lenses of Google cardboard. Almost seems to want the user to be cross eyed...
Boring
Ever thought skydiving was super boring? Me neither - but now you can find out how boring it is.
But there's more - awkwardly joined and flawed VR images, super bad royalty free 'heavy metal' - aimed no doubt to make it less boring - but only managing to throw irritation into the boredom mix.
The concept is ridiculous - sky diving is about the g's - this is the dumbest app idea ever - you're just there looking at what seems to be a static horizon.
Get it if your like boredom.

NuTek Worth the Jump
This is indeed a video project & not a hi-def one. As an emergent consumer tek (free at this stage) it provides an experience that I have not had and don't anticipate having in actuality. There are also other apps showing what we can expect in an apparent short time-frame.
A greater appreciation of this one (only the "Helio" worked for me) may be had if you (assuming use of Cardboard or another VR device):
- Stand while viewing
- Turn around and face in the direction the 'chutist is facing
- Look up at the chute & the arms and hands guiding it
- Look at the flyer herself
- Look down and around
It's not TV where sitting & facing in one direction delivers the entire impact.
Certainly additional "jumps" will be even more revealing.
Thanks for the brave new world.
