Description of Poly

With this version of Poly-z-Vision you can build intricate artistic images fast. By only manipulating one point, for a total of three points of attraction, via mathematically-deep but transparent algorithms, the app allows you to render colorful images simply by dragging the point. The reaction to your artistic impulses can be seen immediately, allowing creation of intriguing unique images in real time. You can easily adjust colors and other features in your images, make them spiral, zoom, recolor etc. As with other versions of Poly-z-Vision apps, you explore a sophisticated software on a very intuitive level. The user-friendly easy-to-try touch-based interface of the app allows you to create beautiful images momentarily. Complicated mathematical algorithms are made transparent to the user. Behind the scenes the app translates mathematical concepts and algorithms such as cubic polynomial equations, iterations, fractals and convergence into fascinating unique images you design.

  • Psychedelic Sunburn

Well I liked it but got frustrated - why is the full screen mode not actually using the whole screen? Why can I only move one point?

Otherwise smooth and speedy creation of psychedelic imagery

  • See my review of the paid version

It seems like there are three different versions of this Poly Z Vision app. This free one isn't as awesome as the paid ones, but I guess that's why it's free haha. Anyway, this app lets you play around with fractals (which are images that have the same structure at all resolutions, think a snowflake). You're a bit more limited in the amount of manipulation available, but its still a lot of fun! Good for kids and adults alike. As I mentioned in the other review, the interface could be a little more streamlined, but that's just nitpicking. 5 stars
