I think this app is amazing but....
This app is really fun and relaxing and I love how you can post the pictures you colour to the gallery. The gallery is definently my favourite part of the app because you can post pics and other artists on recolour. Evryone I know on the recolour gallery has been super nice and supportive and I would not discourage you to download it. The only thing I don't like is that if you don't have a membership you can't access a lot of the crayons, live colours ect. It is also annoying that you have to be a member to have more than three scans and you need to be a member to get the better pictures. Other than that is is a really fun app. I'm hoping that the members pictures are available to non members. T is also kind of annoying g that you can only post five ictures to the gallery every twenty four hours. But I sereously loooovvvveeeeee this app you should really get it!Show lessNatYW
It's okay
It's okay but for some of the pictures that you colour in you have to buy it with your in game money thing or start a free trial, it should just be a bit cheaper when u purchase new pictures but other than that it's nice to colour in the pictures and it does help relieve stress for me.MHGYT505
Good... But...
This is THE best colouring app available, free to download, lots of pictures and tonnes of features!
When you subscribe, the features you can access go crazy! Create your own colours, use of metallic, sharing your work into the app, receiving likes LOADS of stuff to do!
BUT... And here it is...
If you do subscribe, and you want to follow people, or enjoy being followed and liked NEVER cancel unless absolutely necessary! Although your work is available to republish, you lose everything connected to sharing... People you like, those that like you, all the likes you've learned THE LOT. I didn't recall any warning of this in the app, but i loved watching my gallery grow, until i needed to cancel... Now it's all back to 0.
ANOTHER but, a huuuuge butttt, if you uninstall for any reason, you lose ALL your custom colours! I bought a ipad mostly to enjoy this app with, and i got hit by both 'buts'. Ive been off this for a while, uninstalled off my ipad in dismay, come back on, and although the subscription continues now, i have to remake the colours...
... Of course they're the colours i used all the time... But now I have to recollaborate all my unique special colours
The disappointment I felt with these butts had a huge impact on my feelings about the app, but I've reinstalled it to try and rebuild what I've lost... Of course my intention to get a new ipad comes at the price of losing my colours again, so i may be off again when that happensShow lessK8eP1
This app is fab
I love this app. I have never been able to draw, but love and appreciate colour, so this is the perfect app for me. With arthritic hands, I cannot hold a pencil to write/draw for very long without it getting very painful, but with this app, I can hold a stylus "cack-handed" and tap, gently, without any pain at all. It is very therapeutic and a great way to while away time, especially in waiting rooms, and you get an interesting piece of artwork at the end of it. I am currently having a picture made into canvas wall art, as I could not find anything I liked in 'just' the right colour, for my bedroom. Result!!! And info for a previous reviewer; if u get a problem message whilst trying to publish, log out of your recolor account, and log back in. It worked for me when I had that same issue. This app is wonderful! My whole family uses it every day & I have put much thought into purchasing a year subscription. Mind you, I never pay that much for an app & I think the price is quite steep. Nevertheless, I purchased the week to see if we like it enough to pay that kind of money for all of the features. We have all been very pleased with everything involved...BUT (HUGE BUT)...The last update is horrible!! It literally takes 5 minutes to publish a pic. It's near impossible to comment on someone's art, unless you plan on sitting there for a while & fiddling with it...maybe it will let you & maybe it won't! One of the best aspects of this app is the fact that you can communicate with other people within the app! It's really annoying when you are unable to do that without losing your patience! Especially when this is marketed as "relaxing"!! If this gets fixed ASAP, I will continue to make purchases & I will change my review. Hopefully this is just temporary & you are aware of the issues..hopefully, they will be fixed in the next update! I do understand these problems happen..but I also know they can take quite a while to fix..& I am NOT up for wasting money. Great Mental Health When it Works
Originally stumbled upon this app and downloaded the 30 day trial and was so impressed with it that I got it for our 12 year old niece also. Needless to say she loves it as I do. I find it not just fun but very relaxing and a great way to unwind and relax. I would recommend this to anyone even if you think you're not into coloring.

Originally rated this 5 stars but not now. Recolor you are ruining this app! What was once such a pleasure to use is now a frustrating, aggravating pain to use. I don't know what you did in the last update but this app hasn't worked right since. When it works it's sooo slow, freezes and drops the internet connection continuously. I can color without a problem but try to read or send comments is a chore. This is the only app that I have that is doing this so I know it's not my iPad Air 2, modem or router. I don't mind paying for something but I really mind when it doesn't work properly and I really don't like feeling that I'm paying for abuse. You need to fix this or I have the feeling you'll lose a bunch of customers.
In fixing the problems it would be great to have a way to send other artists private messages ( for those that want to) to be able really connect with other artists.Show lessJB's Pad Air 2
Logs me out
I would love to give this app 5 stars but I simply can't! I love everything about it, the colors, pictures etc. Except that it logs me out and says that my email has no account linked to it!!! Very frustrating! This is the third time it's happened to me!jewe1d0g123
