A Hidden Gem in the world of interactive fiction

Everyone knows the popular interactive game apps. Episode, Choices, Chapters, Lifeline. This story beats them all. I stumbled across Timecrest and it was the best decision ever to download it. The story is magical, you can easily connect with characters and it doesn’t have ads. There are no mandatory payments either. Timecrest made me fall in love with so many characters and Alcynia in general. Everything, from the music to the app layout is aesthetically pleasing. Its not cluttered and the app itself was clearly made with care and careful thought.

I’ve had the game for months now and I still find so many new things in my new runs. I hope that they update it to Luthor Timecrest (Timecrest 3) sometime within the next two years.

This game has literally became a part of my life now, checking Morty, seeing what Ash has been up to etc. It’s amazing how you can also interact with the characters outside of the game, on Twitter. As someone who has watched and played a majority of mainstream (and not mainstream) movies, shows and games, this stands out for its uniqueness, it’s intimacy towards the player (me), and the General bond I feel towards Ash. It feels like I’m interacting with someone named Ash on the other side of my phone, and because it’s real time, the interaction and adventure is constant in my life.

100% recommend, I love this game and I hope more people give it a try.

Excellently built

This is an awesome and immersive game, which is particularly amazing when it’s all done with text and some music. This may be the best in-game reason for a choose your own adventure style of story I’ve ever encountered. Now I just need the next part.

Beautifully Created

I really appreciate the time and effort the developers put in this story to make it so spectacular. I still can’t believe that this awesome cream pie of an interactive storyline is free. The music soundtrack is superb; there’s just the right amount of peppy and outgoing, and deep and creepy. Ash is a wonderfully developed person, as well as all the other characters you’ll meet. You feel like you’re actually conversing with real people. Every decision you make affects what happens later in the story, and I’ve made many stupid decisions before I found my favorite timeline. The thought that goes into a world-build like this is enormous, and I just can’t thank the creators and developers enough.

On a side note, know that this game is not meant to be played in one or two days; it adds realism and suspense, as well as a connection to the characters. You can buy some stones (Tome Crystals) to speed up the time waiting, and I encourage you to do so, to help out the people who made this lovely chocolate milkshake! But waiting is also a good thing as well.

I can’t even remember how many run-throughs I’ve been through, but one at least at 9, and I’ve gotten new information almost every time in this story! I love it so much, 10/10 would recommend!

This amazing application is like dating a professional stripper !..

It promises so so very much but is fantastic at everything but the finale!! Aka it utterly lacks ANY resolution!.. and, ONLY hints with temerity instead the brazen literary vixen like quantification that TIMECREST oh so falsely advertises!!
Clearly... if with 2018 nearly over the TC squad of "editors" only find crappy grammar and shoddy craftsmanship and cruddy lame spelling almost 1/5th of a century with spellcheck running rampant..!

Then playing the Godville application is a much better usage of time and it doesn't sell hookerCASH like TimeCrest!$!
Go find and download the application of "Godville".!

Great game

Cant wait for next

So many time waits!!!!!

Ok, I really like this game, it's a great choose your own adventure with a good storyline and backstories, but their are so many time waits, especially in the second book. For example, yesterday i had to wait 4 hours because in the game I "lost connection" then when i played today i got to play for 5 minutes before I "lost connection" again. Then "time desynced" for 6 hours and right after that I "lost connection " for 4 hours! I'm still waiting!

Would be better without all the waiting

The app‘s interface is very voiceover friendly, which is good. However, I cannot get into the game because I am constantly having to wait. I am not willing or able to spend a ton of money on time crystals. I consider that to be a flaw in the game design. Others consider that to be how the developer makes money. Either way, because I do not have the money to support that, I am not impressed. They need to have far less weight time

Never the same twice

Easily one of the best text games I've ever played. It's free (no ads!), a great detailed story line- a scene may have 12 possible paths based on earlier choices. You'll want to replay with different choices as soon as you finish; these choices will determine who survives, and how everything goes.

The only downsides- time and money. You can wait 2-10 hours for Ash to explore, or buy a transport orb (3 days worth of in-game profit). In Part 2, you get injured frequently, each potion takes time to earn. Thankfully, the creators have hidden a few money-earning surprises in the game, as well as offer a weekly forum contest and a guaranteed 50 crystals for a quick weekly Twitter comment. All this in a free/ ad-free game!

Get it! You won't be disappointed.

Need a new chapter

Great game still waiting on a continuation of the story

Great game but need more control

I really enjoyed playing this game; however, I would like to have more control of Ash’s actions and I would want to be able to type in my thoughts and what I think Ash should do instead of choosing option that has been given. It would be great if they have the option where I can type up what I want Ash to do or what I want to say to Ash
