Great philosophy from these guys
These guys have put in some effort to jump onto the ad blocking bandwagon in the hope of generating some publicity for their dev house. I think it's working!
A free and opensource app in a space which is currently suffering from too much moralising and not enough ethics, is very refreshing.
Opensource is a guarantee of transparency and ongoing availability even if these guys lose interest. It can be readily examined for any compromise of principles and that's just great!
Most of the other players in this space, particularly Purify, have been very forthcoming but a few poor decisions by other players have made people suspicious. With Adblock Fast, they've put their time and money where their mouth is.
Congratulations. Very impressive. There's not a single reason to avoid trying this ad blocker.

Best ad blocker and it's free
This is the best content blocker as at the time of writing. I was using crystal before this. But felt cheated when the developer started accepting payment to let some ads through.

It's fully open source, transparent and light-weight. The filters ruleset employed are also open source, meaning there is no sneaky under-the-table deals with ad providers to unblock some ads other blockers may have imposed on their users.

Can't go wrong with this one!
so now that Apple has decided it will allow content blockers on Safari with iOS9, there are several available at the app store. I've been using ad blocks on my Mac for years and not having it on my iPad has been frustrating, as anyone who uses Safari mobile knows. I tried the paid apps, and found them very hit and miss. Change a setting and a web site is unusable. Too many complications and the app itself is unusable. This app is as easy as you can get. Download and activate in settings for Safari, and your done. It's easily turned off, if it interferes with a site, and just as easily turned back on. I've tested it with sites I know are full of ads and pop ups, and it's doing just as it says it will. No ads...no problems. The best part...it's a free download, with no in app purchases to the "full" version.
Being a skeptic of things free at times, I checked the developers web site. It wasn't their intention to make a profit from this app. Their other business interests keep them going. So...my advice is to give this a try. Speedier page loading leads to longer battery life and less data usage. It's a five star app! My thanks to the developers
