As other similar apps give options of measuring in feet or miles or even square miles or square feet, this app does not. I should have looked for those options in the description. It's useless to me. But it was only $.99. I assumed the $.99 would get me those additional options. My bad.Raefisch

I LOVE this app. It is an easy to use tool to measure distances on a map for scoping out routes for walks, hikes, bike rides, etc. So if you want to do a one-mile walk or a five-mile bike ride, you can quickly figure out your route to achieve this. Or use it after to find out how far you walked, biked, drove, etc.Dominique40
